A blend of eaux-de-vie from 12 to 20 years old, François Voyer Napoléon is a full-bodied, floral, fruity, complex and elegant cognac. The eaux-de-vie that compose it are distilled on the lees and aged in new oak barrels from Limousin with medium toast for 3 years, then in barrels in a humid cellar.
The reduction with distilled water was done gradually (maximum reduction of 5% per operation every 6 months to 1 year) using the “weak” technique – which consists of aging the reduction water in cask – in order to provide maximum finesse and complexity.
