Casual Staff Required
About the role
A dynamic, enthusiastic, and experienced individual with a passion for wine will thrive in this role. The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills and provide the highest level of customer service to all our customers both in-store, on the phone and via email. This will involve providing information and advice to our customers on wines, spirits and beers, processing orders as well as liaising with our warehouse/logistics team. Your roll will also include:
· Day to store operations
· Receiving and dispatching stock
· Packing of Web, Private Client and Corporate Orders
· Maintain the store to high level, ensuring it is always kept clean
· Product merchandising and creating visual displays.
· Help with in-store tastings
· Cash handling and till reconciliation
· Closing and securing the store of an evening
Hours
· Applicant must be able to work weekends and evenings (latest close is 9pm Fri/Sat)
· 20 - 30 hours per week
Skills and experience
To be considered for this role, you must have:
· Previous wine retail / wine sales experience (those with WSET or equivalent preferred)
· Sound knowledge of wine, beer and spirits
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Excellent customer service skills
· Excellent time management skills
· Must be available to work both evenings and weekends
· Valid RSA and Driver’s License
