DELIVERY INFORMATION 

Standard Delivery

  • All orders will be dispatched the following business day after being received provided items are in stock.
  • You will be contacted by Best Cellars Staff if there is a stock issue with your order.
  • Depending on your location orders will be either delivered by Courier via our shipping partner Shippit or our own drivers in Sydney.
  • Orders over $199 will receive free delivery
  • Orders under $199, a delivery fee of $15 will be charged. 

All deliveries 

No Alcohol can be left with minors, valid photo I.D. will be required to be presented upon your order being delivered.  

If the customer is unable to produce a valid photo Identification the customer will be refused the sale. 

What about Hot weather? 

Best Cellars will not ship wine when temperatures exceed an unsafe level for transporting wine. Best Cellars will notify you should your delivery will be delayed. 

Is my order insured? 

Yes. Your order is insured against loss and breakage. Please note that freight companies will not recognise claims that have been signed for or left unattended where an authority to leave the wine has been given. If you suspect breakage simply hand the box back to the driver and do not sign for it. We will issue a replacement and re-delivery at our cost. 

What about if I’m not home? 

All deliveries are made during business hours so places of work or business hours addresses are the most favoured destinations. Failing that, we ask that you leave additional instructions if no one is home, such as "leave at back door" or "OK to leave on front porch". If there is no one home and no instruction, the courier will leave a card to say she/he has been and ask you contact them to arrange delivery. This may cause you undue delay or inconvenience hence our advice of a business hours address or authority to leave. 

Deliveries unclaimed within 7 days will be returned to us and accounts will be credited less freight fees. Please note that freight companies will not recognise claims that have been signed for or left unattended where an authority to leave the wine has been given. 

Can my wine be delivered to my PO Box? 

Unfortunately not, we use a courier service for fast, reliable & track-able services, the down side is that we cannot ship to PO Boxes. If you are not going to be home, the driver will leave a calling card for you to organise collection.
