Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front - 92+pts
"This is a free-flowing release with fruit freshness to the fore. Red cherry flavours swing gently into darker berry territory, though twiggy spice and herb characters are in lock-step every inch of the way. This is a fine-boned, juicy red wine of genuine finesse, the latter evident in the tannin profile as well. There’s a slight sourness to the fruit here, an element I often see in Syrahmi wines, which effectively gives the wines a feel of ‘Burgundian shiraz’. This wine will mature handsomely and, for now, responds beautifully to being decanted."
