The Wine:
Sangiovese clone from cuttings taken from the small vineyard (La Vignola) in Alessandro's great-aunties vegetable garden in Tuscany. Later ripening with larger berries.
The fruit was 100% destemmed without crushing to maintain brightness and freshness and fermented in a stainless-steel tank. Extraction was light with a pump-over every few days.
Pressed after 18 days and sent to 1500L oak barrels with a healthy inclusion of lees for elevage of 24 months before bottling in March 2026.
