Region: Yarra Valley
Grapes: Pinot Noir
First Glance: Elegant, Perfumed, Spicy, Savoury
The Wine:
Fruit taken from our ‘View’ vineyard which is right next to the winery on a south facing slope at an elevation of about 300m asl. MV6 clone on its own roots.
Harvested early in the morning to ensure cool temperature of fruit. Fermented in open stainless steel with 100% whole bunch. Pressed after 21 days to barriques – including 15% new.
Left on fine lees for 24 months before blending and bottling unfined and unfiltered in March 2026.
Elegant and site-driven, with the perfume and structure that make Yarra Valley Pinot Noir so compelling. Bright red berries and cherries alongside floral and savoury notes, fine-grained tannins, subtle spice and a long, lifted finish. Whole bunch and oak add texture and complexity without obscuring the freshness of the fruit.
