The Wine:
Mclaren Vale Lennon vineyard Cinsault, 25% pressed straight after picking and mixed in with hand destemmed berries, wild fermented for 12 days. Aged in neutral large format oak.
A nice bouquet of red cherry, pomegranate, strawberry and a hint of white pepper spiciness on the finish. A nice medium-bodied red that would appeal to drinkers of Pinot and Grenache that are looking to branch out a bit more.
