The Wine:
The colour is opaque ruby, very much in the style of a serious Cabernet. Rather introvert on the nose, which is multi-layered and tight, showing dark red and black fruits coated in fine oak and toast. Dry on the palate, with lots of ripe acidity and tannins nicely showing the grape variety and the place where it is grown while forming a backbone for some serious cellaring.
