Gary Walsh, The Wine Front - 95pts
"Darker fruit, cherry, spice, cut fennel, rosy too. Medium-bodied, a little nutty, a ferrous grip to open-weave grainy tannin, a juiciness too, cherry pip, a smattering of dried herbs and tobacco, an almond friand richness, crisp acidity, with a tight finish of very good length. In the more recent tasting I note a sense of ‘minerality’ and more substance on the mid-palate. Excellent."
