The Wine:
Saint Véran is a small commune in the Mâconnais region. To the north are the Pouilly-Fuissé, Pouilly-Loché and Pouilly-Vinzelles appellations.
This delicious unoaked chardonnay puts the spotlight on fruit flavour. Green apples and lemons come tumbling out of the glass giving way to a light-bodied palate that’s crisp and clean. Apple and citrus flavours mingle with nutty creaminess and a bright, talcy finish. Perfect for oysters and fish or soft cheese and crackers.
