Mike Bennie, The Wine Front - 94pts
"It’s got that almost glass-shard tension and gloss, so slender, a succulence that leaves a distinct pucker and a mouth-watering freshness. Tannins ripple beautifully, ultra fine, indeed; I couldn’t quite believe the price and status of the wine for this high quality tension, minerality and general persistence. Whoa. Tart, just ripe red cherry, rose hip tea, hazelnut savouriness, black tea and a curious elderflower, floral lift with a faint sooty spice and clove character underlying – lots and lots on. It’s so fine boned and restrained. Could be, likely is, the best, ‘entry level’ Langhe nebb I have seen. Blown away."
