The Wine:
The family has just over a hectare in Montmains, all on the upper slope and facing southeast. It’s the neighbouring parcel to the domaine’s La Forêt, and the vines were planted between 1968 and 1974. Up until 2006, the vines from both parcels were vinified together. This is one of Bessin-Tremblay’s few wines to be vinified entirely in old oak barrels. The 2022 is simply sensational: fine, floral and incredibly saline.

The Review:
Jasper Morris MW, Inside Burgundy - 93pts
“Extremely pale a light lime touch to the bouquet, a tensile strength without any undue weight, builds to the back of the palate, beautifully fine and very long.”
