"The 2024 Volnay Village has a fragrant bouquet with dark red cherry and crushed strawberry scents, with just a hint of orange blossom in the background. The palate is medium-bodied with lightly spiced red fruit, a touch of bay leaf and white pepper, quite linear towards the finish where it is a little Pommard-like. Give it a year in bottle."
