The Review:
Gary Walsh, The wine Front - 95+pts
"Here’s a fine and somewhat understated wine, which nice to see. Strawberry and raspberry, sage and mint, quite some perfume here too, along with some spice and brick dust earthiness. It’s medium-bodied, kind of earthy and more than a little saline, fresh and while not quite delicate, does have something of a Burgundy feel about it. The tannin is all pumice stone, and the finish pulls savoury and dried herbal, with no shortage of length, flickers of mint/aniseed and white pepper trailing in the aftertaste. A beautiful expression of Pajorè, and so finely wrought. Delightful."
