First Glance: Dark Cherry, Rhubarb, Fresh, Drinkable
The Review:
Mike Bennie, The Wine Front
"Soft texture, dark cherry, a touch of varnished oatmeal biscuit wood on that, some medicinal elements, touches of mocha, stewed black cherry the mainstay. Interesting wine, some Italianate characters, but does show the hand of rhubarb and beetroot elements that take a dash away from freshness of fruit. That being said, has a charisma, a drinkability, a charm. Maybe hung out a little longer than vitality may show best, but an interesting, compelling drink, and bests many that force themselves at the same price. Enjoyment here!"
