"Medium-full colour with a trace of purple still lingering at the rim; a magical bouquet of sweet rose-petal floral notes overlying new kid leather, sweet tobacco, vegetal (whole-bunch?) touches and freshly turned earth. The palate shows this wine is now in its prime of life: gorgeously sweet, succulent fruit of great detail saturates the senses. It's concentrated without being overdone, but has profound depth of flavour that lasts and lasts, the wonderful array of tastes lingering on and on. A new benchmark for this producer? Drink to 2037."
