Slight blush, bright and fresh on the nose with aromas of ripe pear, spring blossom, green apple and fresh strawberry. Vibrant on the palate with flavours of green apple, raspberry and white peach. Hints of fresh pear compliment a dry and citrus burst to finish.
51% Pinot Noir, 49% Chardonnay. The fruit was picked early from low yielding 24 year old vines . Grapes were picked in the coldest part of the night to preserve fruit quality and retain freshness. Pinot Noir is picked fractionally more ripe to give richness and fruit definition. Chardonnay is picked very early to provide structure to the blend. All parcels are fermented separately with assemblage occurring after 3 moths of age.
