First Glance: Soft and elegant style Chianti
Le Due Arbie is the second label of the large Chianti estate Dievole.
This expression of Chianti classico, adds Merlot to the traditional Sangiovese, for a slightly softer profile and a rounder body. Fermented with indigenous yeasts in cement tulips, and aged for 12 months in un toasted, large format French oak.
The Best Cellars view:
Juicy cherry fruit and notes of violet, along with hints of supple spice define the bouquet. Softer and a tad juicier than your average Classico, but keeping to a refined and medium-bodied style, true to its origin.
