The Wine:
These wines are often the litmus test for any given vintage in Barolo, and generally meet at the intersection of amazing value and quality. This is a stellar Langhe Nebbiolo - drinking at the level of many Barolo's, yet at half (or quarter) the price it's an amazing proposition - both for immediate consumption and for the cellar.

"Cherry, almond, spice, plenty of fragrance here, liquorice root, and a little new leather. It’s medium-bodied, fresh and lively, pops with red fruit and supple dusty tannin, a little rose oil in the mix, and a ferrous/stony finish of quiet succulence and excellent length. Classic."
