The Wine:
Chenin Blanc is a variety that is all about texture and acidity. A great food wine that delivers a huge length of flavours with a mineral backbone. Grapes from the Morrison Vineyard were whole bunch pressed directly to barrel, fermented naturally using the vineyard yeasts, all in older French oak.
A wine with refreshing acidity, delicate fruit flavours, some savoury complexity and a long backbone of taut freshness. The wine has a supple texture throughout that is derived from extended barrel ageing. Matured for just over 16 month on lees prior to bottling. Dry.
