The Wine:
From vines planted 1970’s located quite high on the slope on the Puligny side of Meursault. This comes from 3 lieu-dits; Grands Charrons, Luchets, and Malpoiriers. A wine that consistently delivers depth and balance, with classic Meursault power.
This rich, classic village-level Meursault presents aromas of ripe pears and apricot with a hint of white flowers, a salty mineral note, and a hint of reduction. The texture is fresh yet rich, with a lively dynamic balance and impressive length. The grapes are slowly and gently pressed as whole clusters and run directly into cask for fermentation without settling. The wine is a blend of several plots, including Les Grands Charrons, Les Luchets, Les Malpoiriers, among others.
