Pierro VR Chardonnay 2022 - Usually $199.00, $178.99 In This Pack
The Review:
Erin Larkin, The Wine Advocate - 98pts
"The Pierro VR Chardonnay is the last premium Chardonnay of the region to be released each year. It's not released every year, and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't sad about that. I respect the decision to only highlight suitable/excellent years, but I do wish it was a mainstay. The 2022 Vintage Reserve Chardonnay is everything I hope it would be. It is nutty, complex, profoundly weighty and powerful, with chamomile flowers (I feel this is the vintage shining through), yellow fruit and exceptional length. This is one of the most magnificent Chardonnays in Australia."

Leeuwin Estate Art Series Chardonnay 2023 - Usually $164.99, $148.99 In This Pack
The Review:
Ken Gargett, Wine Pilot - 99pts
"This brilliant Chardonnay will surely come to be ranked, not only amongst the best ever from this legendary estate, not only among the best from this thrilling region, but among the best Australia has ever made. This is Grand Cru quality at what has sadly become Village pricing. A profound Chardonnay destined to become a bucketlist wine. A very pale lemon with a vaguely green hint running through it, this is pristine, intense, beautifully balanced and seamless. The oak has almost been completely absorbed, although it is fair to say that it'll probably look even better in twelve months. The wine is, however, immensely enjoyable now. The nose reveals hints of apricot flesh, limes, citrus skins, oatmeal, Madagascan vanilla, gentle touches of grilled cashews, stonefruits and jasmine. Such intensity but meshed with freshness, energy and elegance. Powerful but poised, there is incredible length here, seemingly never-ending, with laser-sharp acidity just one of the many components. There is complexity already evident, although one suspects it is a shadow of what is to come. The intensity never wavers for an instant over the full journey. Stunning stuff, it will still be magnificent in twenty years, likely even more so, and still have life ahead of it. Leeuwin have made some mind bogglingly good Chardonnays over the years, but I think none better."

Vasse Felix Heytesbury Chardonnay 2024 - Usually $139.99, $125.99 In This Pack
The Review:
Ray Jordan, WA Wine Review 2026 - 99pts
"An extraordinary wine of tension, energy and power. It’s the result of the earliest vintage on record at Vasse Felix, with the fruit being picked on 17 January. It’s a wine of power and generosity, yet the subtle secondary characters in here really do strike a complex note. It’s made predominantly from the Gingin clone and shows generosity, but typically lively acidity is there, and that wild fermentation adds richness and density. The aromas are a mix of brioche, subtle lemon curd, and cashew. But then there’s a bright minerality. The palate is almost lavish, yet it’s held tightly with that fine linear precision and crisp acidity. These wines have certainly become slightly more generous in recent years and allow the full expression of the Gingin clone from these distinct sites. It’s another outstanding wine. Dare I say it, but this could be the finest Heytesbury yet."

Moss Wood Chardonnay 2024 - Usually $99.00, $89.00 In This Pack
The Review:
Ray Jordan, Wine Pilot - 97pts
"One of Margaret River’s benchmark chardonnays, and this release from a warm vintage is exceptional. It's fine and delicately poised, yet with regional DNA driving it through to a powerful, sustained finish. Aromas of lemon meringue, brioche and light florals lead into a palate of chalky, savoury elements alongside vanillin and lemony notes. Fine, precise acidity lifts the flavours through to the long finish. An outstanding wine."

Woodlands Estate Wilyabrup Valley Chardonnay 2023 - Usually $33.00, $29.70 In This Pack
The Wine:
The colour of this young Chardonnay is a highlight here - between pale gold and straw, it’s bright, intense, and inviting. The nose is floral, with lifted honeysuckle dancing over white peach and nectarine. “Struck match” oak ferment and toasty brioche notes linger in the background. The palate is fresh- a fruit bowl of orchard and tropical fruits. Medium weight with creamy texture, the finish has an oyster shell salinity.

Domaine Naturaliste Artus Chardonnay 2023 - Usually $59.00, $53.00 In This Pack
The Review:
Gary Walsh, The Wine Front - 95pts
"Rich lime, peach, a fair clip of toasty spicy oak and struck match, salted pistachio and mint. It’s a powerful wine, lots of flavour and presence, a rich gloss to it, though it’s cut by bright citrus acidity, cloves and plenty of grip giving it a tactile intensity, nutty and tangy on a finish of excellent length. It’s Margaret River Chardonnay in full flight. Very good. Impressive wine."
