The Review:
Gary Walsh, The Wine Front - 92+pts
"Plenty of struck match, sourdough, bacon, green melon, white nectarine, and spice. It’s a funky sort of number, lots of barrel ferment complexity and struck match, there’s a grapefruity tang and flavour here too, a flinty feel to texture, almost chalky, and the finish shows green olive with a twist of lemon peel and offers good length. It’s a worked style, though it has intensity and a fair bite to it. Tidy, and likely better again with another year or two under its belt."
