The Wine:
Planted in 2007 and located about 750m (“way the crow flies”) from Chatto's own Isle Vineyard in the Huon Valley, Southern Tasmania. Meticulously and lovingly grown by their neighbour Max Kitchell, Seven Inch has been part of the Chatto stable since 2014. They bottled the first standalone wine from this special site in 2018.
All the rose petals—Seven Inch is a sumptuous Pinot with velvet-like tannins and rich yet chiselled fruit.
