"While the notes read like ‘brooding’ the wine tastes like ‘vibrancy and purity’. Yes, some sheen of fine, brown spice oak seasoning, but dark cherry, black plum fruit is the mainstay. There’s undergrowth, truffle, dried Italian herbs in tow. It places itself as distinctly complex, detailed in its matrix of fruit, spice, savoury and wood; something to pause on and reflect. Serious, beautiful wine."
