First Glance: Blackcurrant, White Pepper, Violets, Layered
The Wine:
North-facing Syrah (R6WV28) with 7% co-fermented Viognier (Montpellier), grown on black dolerite soils. Whole-berry fermented on skins for three weeks, then matured for 10 months in French oak (15% new), undergoing wild malolactic fermentation in barrel. Perfumed with white pepper, cardamom and violet, deeply layered with blackcurrant. A wine of poise and intensity, offering confident complexity - unmistakably SISU.
