"This a precise cabernet. Succulent, fine boned, a shimmy of granite-laced tannin drawing in dark chocolate-cherry, cassis, boysenberry notes with the dusting of mocha powder, dried bay leaf and white pepper sending messages about complexity. Such fleshy texture and yet silky drawl at once – a masterclass in cabernet texture, extension of flavour, persistence of spice and deep fruit character. Wonderfully and evocatively perfumed too. Some power here, but grace likewise. Top flight."
