The Wine:
Our latest addition to the single site collection. Fruit farmed by the Freeman Family just outside Young. It is a well-drained, sloping site that is perfect for Sangiovese in the slightly warmer Hilltops countryside.
The fruit was all de-stemmed with light fermentation work over 3 weeks, before aging in French oak Puncheons for 10 months.
A wine that showcases cool climate Sangiovese, with spiced redcurrants, fresh rosewater, bright cherries, and silky tannins.
