"Richer dark cherry fruit, lick of spice and vanilla, almost a licorice and chocolate richness, some floral top notes. Medium bodied, swells and rolls like surf crashing, except it does not roll back on the finish. Ripe chocolaty tannin, pretty mouth perfume, mineral feel, and plenty of length – perky fresh strawberry acidity to close. Give it a few years in the cellar first to get your money’s worth."
