"Three hectares come together between one large chunk that stretches from Garenne to Les Chioures to Dix Journaux and some more rows further south in Grand Montpertui. The sultry, vaguely rustic nose starts with pencils shavings, leather and blood orange zest. The palate pours on black currant preserves as the impressively rounded tannins and zippy acidity bolster the palate. The 80% new oak seems to have melted into the wine."
