Region: Yarra Valley
Grapes: Chardonnay
First Glance: Mineral Driven, Energetic, Pulpy, Flinty

The Wine:
From the Mendoza clone, this Chardonnay is whole bunch pressed and fermented in barrel with no malolactic fermentation. The wine has a tight nose that opens with delightful peach and citrus. On the palate, it shows high intensity, balanced by a lovely line of acidity and a subtle, rocky mineral, spicy finish.
The Review:
Mike Bennie, The Wine Front - 93pts
"Crackles with energy and purity. Quite light weight but enough creaminess to deliver some good dimensions. Mandarin peel, green apple, green pear, light nougat, cinnamon dusted about lightly with a pulpy, pink grapefruit finish. Some skittish, briny minerality and light flinty notes in there too. Wicked delicious."
