The Riesling is grown between Murrumbateman and Gundaroo where the soils are full of shale and quartz fragments. The vineyard has encapsulated our winemaker for a few years now. So much so that Hamish and good friend Nick O'Leary now manage this vineyard.
Split three ways following harvest, then blended back together prior to bottling. 10% fermentation of whole berries in ceramic, 15% fermentation of juice in ceramic, and 75% cool fermentation of juice in stainless steel
A fine delicate Riesling with beautiful Granny Smith aromatics, a strong lime leaf hit, and immense length built on superior acidity and powerful lemon rind texture.
