Our little aromatic one has taken a slight turn this vintage with the incorporation of Zibibbo, Vermentino and a splash of Pinot Gris in the blend. Still vibrant and expressive, with crushed herbs and spice adding detail throughout the fine texture.
Following the 2020 fires we worked closely with good friends around Australia to work with a few different parcels. With the assistance of Ashley Ratcliff, we created this blend from Barmera, in the Riverland. Handpicked, and transported under refrigeration to Canberra where each parcel was treated separately. Whole berries incorporated on all but the Pinot Gris to add a delicate generosity to the wine. Carefully blended, filtered, and bottled in September with minimal sulphites.
