The Wine:
The 2017 The Octavius is medium to full depth reds with purple hues. This has really alluring aromas of spicy perfume, fresh lifted red cherry florals, blue and blackberries and dark plums, completed with cocoa powder and savouriness. Then the palate is so complex with full depth textural concentration and a rich core of blue to black fruits and currants. With smoothly refined tannins, so long and seamless, this will age very reliably.
