50% is whole-bunch pressed clean off the skins for purity, the other 50% were crushed before pressing for a bit of skin contact. Rested for 4 months with lees before bottling. All of the above to add complexity to both flavour and texture, and make for a serious and age-worthy wine.

This release will take some bottle age, for sure, but if you were looking for a young riesling to drink right now, this would make an excellent choice. It offers excellent upfront flavour, a semblance of texture, noteworthy push through the finish and a general, all-round deliciousness. Lime, apple juice, apple seeds and slate characters are the drivers but the specifics aren’t so important. It drinks a treat, and that’s the thing.
