The Wine:

Bright pale straw. A nose with talcy blossom floral notes, a daub of lemon butter and grapefruit pith. The palate is quite energetically dry and deceptively powerful, with floral intensity driven by an interplay between slatey dry extract and toothsome minerally acidity. The wine walks amongst orchard and stone fruits – yellow apple, unsweet apricots, a building tart kumquat note.

The Review:
Jeni Port, Halliday Wine Companion - 93pts
"An exciting start with fragrant aromas of lime peel, lemon sherbet and hints of white stone fruits, sweet herbals and blossom. Pulsates with life and vigour across a super-dry, juicy palate bringing lime zest and stone fruits together in a nicely integrated form. The texture is a work in progress. Expect more to follow as the wine ages, which is the producers' intention.”
