This is Brizios's entry-level wine. Grown on the warm south-west facing side of the Montalcino hill, from vine material with an average age of 18 - 25 years. Fermented only with indigenous yeasts in steel, then aged in large format, untoasted French oak barrels for 12 months.

A classic rosso through and through, this holds ripe cherry and raspberry fruit with a tinge of sun-warmed clay and almond. Medium tannin with a fine and powdery texture frames the medium-bodied palate, carried along by a fresh lick of acidity.
