Region: Chablis, France
Grape: Chardonnay
First Glance: lean and classic AC Chablis
Acclaim: 92 points

A moderately sized domaine with 30H under vine, a respectable 14 of those of premier cru classification! The family's winemaking tradition goes back no less than 150 years, with a recent generational shift having occurred as of the 2018 vintage, when Daniel Dampt's two sons, Vincent and Sebastien, took the reigns.

A classic AC Chablis through and through. A cuvee assembled from several sites in the region, with vine age an average of 30 years, vivified entirely in steel, to conserve purity and varietal character.

Son of Daniel Dampt. Screwcap sealed for your pleasure. Organic. Importer: France Soir

Flint, oyster shell, lime juice, green apple. Very fresh. Clatters in the palate with saline minerally character, green apple, lime juice, kind of floral feel and a lovely, salty finish. Great regional character and drinking.
