The Wine:
A part of this cuvée comes from plots which are nicely spread out over the Côte de Beaune. The other part of the cuvée comes from Faiveley's own vineyards located in the Côte Chalonnaise. The wine is matured for 8 to 10 months in their cellars in Nuits-Saint-Georges. Part of the cuvee, which varies depending on the vintage, is aged in oak barrels. These barrels come from high-quality barrel-makers and have been rigourously selected for their fine grain and light toast.
A brilliant pale greenish-yellow colour. The very expressive nose has white flower scents and some butter. The attack is bold and generous. This wine, which is balanced on the palate, has good volume and quite exceptional long-lasting scents and tastes for a Bourgogne blanc.
