The Wine: 100% Chardonnay, from 40+ year old vines on a 0.62 ha parcel at 300m altitude. Certified organic, fermented with indigenous yeast. Aged in 50% barrique (20% new), 50% in large older foudre. Finished in stainless steel for 6 months before bottling.
The nose reveals aromas ofyellow and white fruits accompanied by smoky and spicy notes and creamy brioche The palate is balanced, with remarkable freshness and ample weight, extending into a long finish.
