"From a couple of sites in McLaren Vale. Louis Schofield, winemaker, is the king of the beach. Struts on sand. Nero d’Avola.
Delicious expression more tightly packed, racy almost, long and fine and hemmed in with lacy tannins. Cherry cola, yep, some light earthiness, a lick of minty herbs, but the wine feels more mineral and acid driven than fruity and delivers an almost pinosity in its wake. Super example."
