A rosé that stands out from the crowd of pink plonk. Made from free run shiraz juice which gives a vibrancy and depth, viognier adding texture and weight but what truly adds a layer of complexity is a portion of barrel aged sauvignon blanc which tightens the wine with a distinctive savoury element. On the nose there is this a very pretty floral character coupled with ripe stone fruits and spice. The palette maintains a more savoury, structure driven appearance with bright crunchy acid that is softened by the lushness of the fruit. The use of three interesting varieties coming together to create a summer drink that is as complex as it is delicious. We believe the 2019 rosé captures that uniquely summer feeling of being free and having fun.
