Mount Pleasant’s most floral and expressive Semillon. Named after a section of the Lovedale Vineyard.
Vibrant citrus notes of lime and mandarin integrated with lemongrass providing an aromatic and intense nose. A soft and balanced palate dominated with citrus fruits. Purity and perfect acidity drive the palate for a long and fresh finish. Will drink now or with careful cellaring this wine will develop over the next 10 years. McWilliams Wines
Winefront tasting notes :
Firmly in the lime flavour camp here, with a distinct crunch and zip to the acidity, more fruity at the front, tighter acidity pulling out the back – party up top, business down the bottom, you could say – and an energetic thing it is throughout, with a light chalky texture and solid length. Very good, but needs a few years.
