The Wine:
Merlot is a delightful grape and capturing that element of joy in the bottle is the focus for Little Frances. De-stemmed, not crushed and fermented on skins for almost 3 weeks. Pressed to large French puncheons and aged on lees.
A gentle tannin structure supports a dark plum and berry fruit profile.
Merlot is often underestimated. Believe me when I tell you, this wine will be the first one emptied on any shared table.
