The Wine: Hailing from the coolest vineyard on the Prüm estate, the 2021 Bernkasteler Kabinett opens with playful lime, white florals, orange blossom and a slatey minerality. Lucious and ripe, it is mouth filling and delicate at once, with a shaley texture and enveloping flavour. Focused and linear acid drives the long finish with a strong impression of purity and precision.

More air brings almost a hint of elderflower. The palate is beautifully light with exquisite, dancing, light-footed balance. A textbook Kabinett - tender and playful with immense elegance and delicacy, luminous with vivid lemon acidity, tinged with traces of lime.”
