Jim Barry Museum Release Assyrtiko 2019

| /

Region: Clare Valley
Grapes: Assyrtiko
First Glance: Racy, Wet Stones, Lemon Curd, Crunchy Peach

The Wine:
Again, a wine that has a long life ahead of it still, but a great chance to have a peak at what's going on inside the bottle for Australia's premiere rendition of this variety.

Tasted next to the 2023, which is tight, tangy and lean - this is showing a lot more generosity with creamy lees, lemon curd, crunchy peach and limey tang. Great river stone minerality as well, and a focused finish that lingers pleasantly.
