The Wine:
Deep dark red colour with a subtle black tinge to the edges and a light red hue. Perfumed scents of violets, red to dark cherries and winter strawberries blossom from the glass trailed by some anise, fresh herbs, forest floor and spice. A power wave of red to dark cherries, strawberries and anise fan out across the breadth of the palate like a peacocks tail backed by fantastic freshness. Elements of forest floor, fresh herbs and spicy cedar are apparent on the back half. Polished tannins with a long spicy red to dark fruited conclusion.
