"9 months on lees in old oak (a couple with whole fruit bunches inside too) then  9 months in bottle to relax as they were super sharp from the cool 2020 Vintage.  They are good to go for this summer methinks. Natural ferment, no fining but frickin' heaps of sulphur. I love it. It's in the parts per million range but still less than what you’d inhale walking the streets of Hong Kong for a week. About that much. Except of the blend which has way less.

" 2020 Riesling 'South' - Derwent Valley - Single Vineyard - Meadowbank
"Lavender, juniper and herb perfume, rock salt, pear and citrus. It’s saline, fine dusty powdery texture, almost peppery in feel, a zesty tang, aniseed and lemon, with a very firm and tight finish of excellent length. Intense. Will need a few years, but the character of it, and the stuffing is top notch."
