"A blend of 90% Tibouren and 10% Grenache, fermented with native yeasts and aged sur lie in 100 year old foudre for at least 12 months before bottling. Salmon orange in color, the nose is compelling, aromatic and spicy, with a round yet vibrant palate and a surprisingly mineral finish. Impeccable balance, as ever. White cherry and redcurrant, a subtle flowering basil note, a little spice. Svelte and juicy at once, red berries and orange with a smattering of dried herb. Glossy but fresh, fine powdery texture, with a ripe cherry and orange zest finish of fine length. All just so. A little more vigour and frisky feel in 2019, I’d suggest."
