We have made this blend for a few years and it shows the character of the vineyard well. This wine will enjoy some air to open up.

If you were to crystal ball the fine wine paradigm of natural wine, not just the fun stuff, but the legacy stuff, you wouldn’t think such a younger generation (second generation!) as this would be the portent. They are. Petit verdot, pinot noir, cabernet sauvignon from the ye olde Basket Range Vineyard. A blend of components. Young Sholto Broderick is one of the most bright and considered winemakers going around.
Superb wine. Elegant and refined. Ethereal, and I don’t use that sometimes too often bandied about word often. Silken flow on lace of finest tannin, dark currant and cassis characters, leafy notes for light and shade, succulence in texture and epic length are some of the features of this beautiful and soulful wine. Modern classic mesh. Exceptional drinking. A proper, fine wine.
